This policy explains what Octoburr LLC collects when you use octoburr.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Mailing list. If you join “the list,” we store the email address (and name, if given) you provide, plus which page you signed up from and when you consented.
Contact & requests. When you send a message, request a tour date, or contact customer service, we keep what you send — your name, email, and message.
Orders. If you buy something, we store your order details, email, and the shipping address you enter at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card number.
Technical data. Our servers log basic request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security, abuse-prevention (rate-limiting), and reliability. We don’t use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use it

To send you email you asked for (and nothing you didn’t) — you can unsubscribe anytime.
To respond to your messages and fulfill and ship your orders.
To operate, secure, and improve the site.
To comply with the law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, under their own terms:

Stripe — payment processing.
Google Cloud — hosting and storage of the site and its data.
An email service provider — only if and when we connect one to send the newsletter.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — e.g., your mailing-list entry until you unsubscribe, and order records for our accounting and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to unsubscribe you from email. Email support@octoburr.com and we’ll take care of it. California residents have additional rights — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Children

The site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information (encrypted transport, hashed credentials, least- privilege access), but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
